Anyone Run a Matrix on CO2? I know that it's technically possible, but is it really useable on CO2?

Yep, its possible...any marker will run on co2.

si i had a go with one of my matrix on co2 and yes it will werk but
the fire rate has to be low as it will freeze real fast.
use gloves as your hands will get very cold..

I'm just thinking of using a matrix as a team backup and wanted something to get it up and running fast without the expence of having to get another Air system.

Older shockers work better on CO2 than a matrix probably would. You can pick one up for less than $300 too. You might consider one of those (they're gas hogs on air, but on co2 you can get about 700 from a 20oz, or so I've heard)
