I should start by saying that I'm not actually a member of this forum. My son is (Slayer01).
Recently, my son bought a marker from the late Chris Smith. Sadly the marker wasn't working properly and Chris was in the process of sorting it out when he passed away. I'm sure we could have got it sorted out eventually but it would have been problematic as we didn't know who would be in a position to fix it.
So we asked for some advice from Lump and Clarkieboy. Without hesitation, they both said we should send the marker to them and they would make sure it would be fixed. The only thing that was in their minds was making sure my son was happy with his purchase from Chris. They had both been great friends with Chris and wanted to sort the marker out on his behalf because that's what he would have wanted. Apart from that, they had no other obligation to my son.
After a little organisation, the parcel was sent to Clarkie Boy who got it to Lump. He then sent it to Robert at Planet Eclipse. Robert sorted the marker out and sent it back to my son.
The marker works perfectly now and my son is extremely happy.
I just wanted to say thanks to Lump and Clarkieboy. You guys are awesome. we also need to say thankyou to Ledz and the guys at Planet for their help too
And to the rest of you on this forum, rest assured you have a great moderator as well as some brilliant members. My son has bought and sold many items through this forum, and the people have been very honest, trustworthy and reliable. I'm glad my son has found a hobby with so many decent people involved.
To Lump and Clarkieboy, we'll be up for the North versus South weekend in May. If you're there, I'll be very pleased to buy you a drink or two. Thanks again.
