I just wanted to say a huge thank you to Warren and Matty for the great tournament this weekend and also thanks to them for choosing us to shoot the DVD. The entire crew had a fantastic if not absolutely knackering time and we will all certainly be there again next year if invited. Well done also on sorting out some very unexpected problems and managing to keep the event running no matter what occured, resulting in the excellent Tigers/Hardcore final!

Thanks to the teams for being so helpful, insightful and just generally really bloomin nice to all our documentary teams as they cruised the event. The interviews we have are going to be integral to developing the structure of the final film

Also thanks to everyone for putting on a good show on the fields- it was our first time filming anything like this and the camera team had a blast (even those who got hit!). The footage is looking great from what I've seen so with luck the finished film will be one worthy of purchase for all paintball fans, wherever you may be based.

See you all again next year (or hopefully at the Euroball next month!)

***-for-life
I have never experienced anything like it; the tournament was flooded with camera crews. Documentary teams going round interviewing players and spectators, it was excellent. In the finals we were rushing to turn games around quickly and the cameras rolled on, catching us setting up, talking tactics, rushing to the field, playing the games, our reactions at winning etc etc. They really took their job seriously and I think it made us play more seriously. All I can say is the film crews were professional to the last never got in the way just maxed up the atmosphere.

Excellent job!

We are beginning to edit the 50 hours of footage we shot into 80-90min so its gonna take a while! I still aim to have it completed by mid-November and will announce it on here.

Its all looking good so far- just hope you guys agree!

Hi Boomer

Unfortunately I had some major personal delays just post-tournament which have held the DVD up slightly. Also as this was our first DVD of such an event, I had to go with gut feeling in terms of predicting how long it would take to wade through that much footage!

However the edit has now begun in earnest and we hope to have it out within 3 weeks- I realise this is a lot longer than we initially said but it will defintiely be out before Christmas so all you people wanting a copy can still get those Santa letters sent off in time!

In the meantime we have the Euroball 3 event this week which means starting all over again. Hurray....

:)
