A couple of things to note, what is your budget?
Out of all your equipment a mask is the thing you want to spend something on, there is no point in saving £10-20 to get a mask that isn’t as comfortable, this thing could save your life and most likely you are gonna have it on for more than a short amount of time. I would look into one of these 3, Proflex, Flex 8, or profiler, all of which are quite lightweight, comfortable and have some form of anti fog device on the lens
In my opinion get the proflex, since it is cheaper, and more comfortable, but if i were you, I would go to your local store, and try on every mask they have there, find the one that fits you best and that you like, its all preference
But if you really do want to save a couple of £ try planet they have the extreme rage goggles in cheap http://planeteclipse.com/site/prodView.asp?prodID=2178
But check these forums, there is always a mask or 2 going through like the proflexs I bought not a week ago, but personally I would always by a mask new and never second hand, its just one worth it since you never know what could have happened to it, or if you do, put a new lens in it asap.

What khanzo said but if you can buy new and go as high end as you can. Its like buying a motorcycle helmet, You cant put a price on your head/eyes so get the best.

I find the foam on the extreme rage gogs pinches my nose shut making breathing hard. This may ease as the foam softens, but i didn't have them long enough to find out.
I swear by my proflex, real comfy.
If you are buying second hand and are worried about saftey then change the lenses (it's advised you do this every season anyway) and as long as the frames aren't cracked then you should be fine.

like the other guys say, buy the best you can afford, you cant put a price on your safety...

I use a JT Flex7 and love it. Light, comfortable. easy to clean and loads or lens options.
Been hit in the face a few times and no harm done other than a splsh of paint in the mouth. Oh, and I wear glasses which still fit under the mask easily

i wear glasses 2. anyway how much was your JT Flex7 ?
it sounds pretty good. the first time i got shot it was on the mask right over my mouth. so i learned the hard way oarnge paintballs dont tast good.
will htis mask fogg up in cold weather? also how easily can you see through it ? like sides and up and down?
