I just sold i4's and pro flexes on the forums because i wanted something new. I like the breathability of the pro flex but they were a little flimsy and felt like they would always fall off (they didn't, although the wiggle made them feel like they would). The i4's are nice but they felt a bit too small on my face. Anyway, time for something new. I've many good things about the e-flex, and have tried a pair on, they seem to have the advantages of BOTH of i4's and pro flexes. I know they are mixed with e-vents, but i have never worn e-vents :p . Anywho, is there any others that you guys reccommend? I was thinking maybe Grillz? Profits? E-vents? Any other suggestions?
i know you guys are gonna all say "try before you buy" etc. but i don't have people i can ring up and ask to try on the masks unfortunately-although i wish i did.

Any help would be much appreciated as always!

Cheers

Ropez:)

E-vents are a good set of goggles and so are Grillz (I've worn both) but you'll have to make sure that they come with a thermal lens or buy one separately as the single pane lenses in Grillz are prone to fogging up. In terms of how restrictive they are to your breathing, the flex wins over both of them easily. If memory serves me correctly, the e-vents were a little less restrictive than the Grillz in this department. With this in mind, whilst i haven't worn them personally id say the E-flex would be worth the extra money. I cant comment on the Profits from experience, but that said I haven't heard many good things from others.

Also,
try before you buy

haha knew someone would mention try before you buy, really want to but its finding people who live near me with them and then meeting them to try them. I'm in Kent which is kind of a black hole when it comes to paintball. Anyway, I would like e-flexes by the sounds of things. I'll see if i can get any cheap on the forums. I think Grillz will be my 2nd choice.

Many Thanks Three Zeroes

i've recently switched from Grillz to the E-Flex, and would seriously recommend the E-Flex over them, even if its simply just for the extra breathabilty they give you

i use both grillz and proflex and generally i like to use the grillz more when i'm playing tourneys since i'm a front player for my team, that little bit of extra protection around the sides is nice when you get mugged out the snake :p
on the flip side i like my proflex for just playing in the woods or whatever since they tend to breath a bit better when playing long games.

Over the years I've owned various makes and have only just found a set that suits me perfectly.

Tried: (My personal cons)
Empire events - echo, foam
JT Flex 7 - to large for me, no quick change lens
Vforce profilers - single pain lens found it fogged
Dye I3 Pros - fogged and no quick change lens
Sly profits - fogged easily and the padded ears muffled your hearing.
Proto axis pro's - can't think of any bad points
E-flex - the black foam between the dual layer is right in your periphery vision, it's a right put off so invest in the lens stickers eclipse sell, these solve the issue.
