Afraid of water...

I don't use HOT water for my goggles as I once did - the glass turned in to a very weird color... Don't wan't that to happen again - lucky it wasn't permanent but it scared me :p
It was a spectra thermal lense though - could explain a lot...

I know a lot of guys who put 50/50 water and rubbing alcohol in the spray bottle. They say it cuts through the fill faster. The smell bugs me too much, personally.

good old water works fine for me....just make sure you dont soak the seal between the two lenses (on thermals) or you will knacker the lens

I was told when I went diving by an instructor, the best thing to use with diving goggles is toothpast and and then wash them off with water as it creates a film on the inside of the lens.

The other one is to use spit as kidzero mentioned
