Marshalling

OK so you are looking at this thread please read on

I am looking for two teams to help Dyehard marshal an event, the criteria

1 You must have some experience of marshalling
2 You must be able to take compliments from players instead of the sh*t some marshals get at tournaments
3 You must have a sense of humour
4 You must be laid back and chilled
5 You must wear a free t shirt
6 If you can do the two days and want to camp then you must be able to party on the Saturday night.
7 You can play on the Saturday if you want.
8 Finally you must be able to make two or three decisions in a day.
9. O and I will pay you £ cash for your services

So what am I talking about - I am looking for about 12/15 extra marshals to join the Dyehard crew to marshal for the Star Wars scenario game at Kidderminster. You can play on the Saturday, party on the Saturday night, BBQ and karaoke, and then marshal at one of the most stress free events (for players and marshals but not organisers) in the UK paintball calendar. It is Fun.

If your team can't attend on Saturday then arrive Sunday for a 9.00 start.

hmmm I'd probably come down to this but people always say they need experienced marshalls, then how does one get experienced eh?

I am going to try to get a few students from York Uni down, but since they will all be freshers I need to hold off saying anything for definate yet. If there was going to be a trip down, I'd rather marshall than play, but don't count any chickens just yet - depends on the interest shown by the new batch of freshers.......

I did it last year................ thoroughly enjoyable day of marshalling.


I also edited all of the cheesy puffs packets to cheesy poofs using a permanent marker
