I think the UK would greatly benefit from some sort of recognised certified course for marshalls, ultimates and the like.

well that would be two of us.. three if we count mike from our team he would probably be interested in doing one as well..
what things do people think need to be covered on the course.....
for me
1) Rules for Safety.... this has gotta come first..
2) the rules.... no obviously these may very from tourney to tourney, so probably the common rules would be better..
3) when to call a player nutral when not to.. (okay this is probably down to judgement)
and what do you think people should get at the end of the course??

I'd put my name down for a marshalling course. A certificate or official jersey or something would be good once you pass.

yeah, i'd be up for it
Then i'd know what to do when mom, grandma, grandpa & babe-in arms decide to walk across my woodland between 321 and game on! Yes this really happened last week...they'd ignored the signs, climbed over the fences & gone for a stroll thru the woods where 60 newbs were 1 second from blowing their eyes into the back of their heads!!! Luckily i was able to get the tresspassers to safety in time with as much thanks as 'Dont shout at me, i'm going to complain to the local council!' Gee thanks...and i even gave the baby my JT's until they were clear! Doubt they'll be back though, i think i scared the s*** out of them!

i am trying to get moose the millenium ultimate to do it for me
all the lads in the mayhem marshal's paintball club want to do it its just finding a day when everyone is available if you want to book up a day let me know, i to feel that there should be more officialy trained marshalls at our tornis, but thanks to all the guys and girls who marshall you do a hard job!!
