Any hints on what i should do to reduce the number of welts i have by the end of the day.
How professional do you have to be, what does it involve?

Don't stand in the line of fire.
Stick to your decisions even if you made the wrong call.
If you marshalling at a field near the woods look for the flashes of blonde hair.

Carry a marker with you, in case jiggy plays, then you can bust cap in him when he mugs you by accident. :D

Thats alright, my marker is Jiggys old Imp, so he will recognise whats lighting him up. As far as the blonde hair goes, i will be on the lookout.
Tortoise licker, who do you play for, you have to make yourself known to me, i wana meet a fellow pomperian. Im the marshall in tigger ears.
See you tomorow

Know the rules. Check out the thread called "Pop-quiz.." in the tourney section if the rules are the same as Millennium. Especially know what to do during those end-of-game situations around the flag-hang, etc.

Take a copy of the rules onto the field with you.

Be sure and drink a lot of water. Don't get dehydrated.

Carry a bright-colored towel with you to wipe smear off with and to keep your goggles clean. Also useful for that rare neutral call. Take a spare with you.

I recommend knee-pads.

Wear a very bright bandana or head-cover.

Try to let each player know why they have been eliminated, if possible. If they give you lip tell them to ask you about it later. Don't let them hold you up or distract you.

Use all the welts you get to get some sypathy lovin'.
