Well the new JT excellerators are supposed to be very good. Quick, reliable and inexpensive, the electronic spyders are about the same 9never shot either but going on what I have heard). If you can pick up a cheap mag and add the lvl 10 mod you will have a good and very hard to break marker that will never (and I mean never) chop a ball (I loved my mag as a starter marker and wished they had brought out the lvl 10mod sooner). They can go reasonably fast. Or if you can afford a bit more then you can start to look at standard impys and second hand cocker/angels/shockers etc.
The main thing to do would be to go to your local site and wander around and find people with different markers, say that you are new to the sport and are trying to find the right marker for you and could you try theirs to see what it is like. Most ballers will be more than happy to help out and will let you try their gun. Once you have tried a variety of different markers you will be able to make a better choice of which marker you liked the best. It is not up to us to tell you what marker you get as we all have different preferences ourselves.
Hope this helps and happy hunting.
