Have any of you guys got opinions on the Black Draguns or JT Excellerator 5 markers, cos they are 130 and 155 respectively at planet eclipse which seem to be a great deal to me. I had thought about either an inferno or a tippmann, how do these all compare. Thanx for any advice...

Have a look around the techroom Sean, there's been loads of threads recently about these markers (& quite a few on this board as well).

black dragun

i don't know much about the JT's but i have a black dragun. for the money this is a remarkable gun. for under 150 it has quality of craftsmanship and features that are better than guns costing twice as much, IMO. it's field strippable. the hidden back cocking mechanism is nice too, esp. since a guy told me about breaking his goggles with a reg. rear cocking marker.
and the trig!! oh, my god. it's seriously like a mouse click. it's ridiculous how fast you can shoot with this gun.
the only downsides are the barrel, seriously needs to be upgraded. i've heard the plastic grips can't be replaced. the plastic trig has a little side-to-side play but can be replaced with an alloy. doesn't bother me tho.
you need an adaptor to put on a spyder bottom line or drop forward.

other than those little details a great gun for a cheap price. there you got a review of the dragun. find someone with a jt and compare.

may be this will help........

I had a shot of a Jt a couple weeks ago and I found it really hard to build speed when pulling the trigger. I also had a shot of a dragun at the last series 2002 evnet at Durum. It shoots nice and you can get a good rate of fire out of it.
Hope this helps.
