Ok, I'm sure most of you are tired of us newbies asking these same questions ...but it does feel reassuring to ask them yourself :D

So here they are:

I have surfed page after page, not knowing which marker to decide upon. So far I have narrowed it down to these.
So give this clueless newbie a hand, would ya?

List of markers
(These prices are all quoted from the "PlanetEclipse.com"site.)

Dragun (Electronic Marker) Combo deal - £180/£130 (marker only)
{Includes 20oz Bottle, Anti Syphon Tube, On/ Off Valve, VL200 Shot Hopper, JT Goggles}
For some reason I am drawn to this particular marker.

Combo Deal Spyder Flash Classic (Blue 2 Purple Fade) - £249.95/£199.95 (Marker only)
{Semi Auto Mode only, Runs on Co2 or Compressed Air / N2. Comes with Carry Case and Charger. Includes 20oz Bottle, Anti Syphon Tube, On/ Off Valve, VL200 Shot Hopper, JT Goggles}
I heard of the name 'Spyder' everywhere I looked...must be a good thing?

Combo Deal Inferno Heat (20oz) - £172.97
[Includes: 20oz Bottle, Anti Syphon Tube, On/ Off valve, elbow, VL200, JT Nvader Mask}
Just thought I'd add another to the list

What do you think of the JT Evolution markers?

For the hoppers, I know I will either get the HALO or any other flashy gagety battery drainin' bad boys.
Which reminds me, Do I need some sort of adapters for them to fit into any of the markers mentioned above?

If you have any other suggestions please feel free to post them. :)

Obviously, as you can see that I haven't opted to pay 2 weeks rent on a gun. :)
For obvious reasons, mainly one of them being that I am just getting into paintballing.

I should be getting that exact black dragun you mention above for Christmas. Its had amazing review (see pbreview.com - 150+ reviews with an average of 9.6/10). Really fast bps and a few tourney players say it might even hold its own in a tournamet. Its definitely on my xmas wish list.

the best thing that you can do is to go to your local fied and try as many different markers as possible. that way u will know whether it suits you or not. i started with an inferno which was great, worked well, easy to maintain and was easy to sell on when i upgraded. Don't assume that you have to buy a new marker. there are some relly good deals to be found both on this and other forums as well as on ebay and the likes.

Try befoe you buy is the best advice! i didn't bought and IR3 when they were just out and absolutely hated it. just didn't get on with it at all. now running an evo x

Difference...

Ok, with all these Spyders looking the same.
What are the differences?

I noticed there are quite a few of them out there.
But mainly these two I'm most confused about;

Spyder E99
Spyder Flash Classic

They look the same to me and costs about the same. Give or take £20~30.
(dependent from site to site)

And Why is the 'Vertical' better than the other?
Oh, and another thing...I beg you no acronyms or slangs when describing the parts/markers/etc.

Thanks a bunch

You mention above about considering a Halo hopper. To be honest, with the markers you are considering there is no need to pay out about a ton for one rather than an X-Board revvy, the revvy can keep up with all the ones you listed & will cost you significantly less. Halos are only worth it if you are a paint monster (like me) who intends to shoot over about 12-14 bps, otherwise the cheaper hoppers will keep up fine.
