Marker settings for maximum shots per refill.

Hi guys, I'm wondering about the settings for an Ego 8 and 11 to get the maximum number of shots out of a 4500psi 1.1ltr bottle.

At the moment both markers are set to the factory defaults on the board, with semi auto and 10bps. They are both shooting at about 280 fps and with the front LP screw set as per the manual. The Ego 11 has a dart kit fitted.

Just looking at being able to stay on the field longer at NvS.

I -think- the way to set them up for "most efficient" is reduce the pressure in the LPR a half turn at a time, then fire a few shots over the Chrono.

When you see a change in the consistency turn it back a half.

Then do the same for the dwell (.5 decrements). Turn it down until you see a change in the speed of the balls, then increment the value by .5

Although every marker is different and it may cause issues. So if you do experience any issues like chopping,bolt stick etc.. set it back to stock.

Never fiddled with one, but the ego 11 solenoid can be adjusted to help with efficiency aswell can't it?

Try that dwell thing.
I forgot to say as well, as soon as you change any orings then restore it factory until its bedded in again.

Thanks mate think i might just pop a 88 bottle on it lol then when i have chance a a tweek. How many shotts would you class as bedding it in?

There's no defined number of shots, every marker being different and all that. But the fast and loose figure is 14,000 to 20,000 shots I'd say.
