Over the last year there has been an increase in Paintball markers being stolen, Marker Reg has been setup to help us to combat this.

How does markerreg.com work?

The more players using markerreg.com the harder it is for people to sell stolen markers and by making it harder to sell stolen markers the safer your marker is.

Marker Reg is a free to use web site with tools which will let you view any markers which have been submitted as being stolen you can also do a serial number search which are listed on markerreg.com.

When you become a member of markerreg.com you will find tools in the member’s area which will let you.
• Register your markers
• Submit a marker as being stolen
• Edit your markers description
• Transfer a marker to a member of markerreg.com
• Mark a marker as being sold
• Generate a web page to show that you own that marker

The Password system at Marker Reg is using alphanumeric and Non-alphanumeric characters and needs to have a minimum of 7 characters, example of this would be : import@nt , enclo$ed , Me$$age , Option$ or dis@ble

I would like to thank the following people for there help.

Team Snatch and Greg from 2HOT.4U for all the input into Marker Reg.
Nige from 2HOT.4U on his testing of the site and his input.

Thanks

My markers all registered. Nice one Nick. Great service. Hopefully this will start to cut down the black market that seems to be a growing feature of this wonderful sport.

This looks like a great idea that i know a few people have tried before

As a suggestions is there anyway you can put a box in for each marker so that we can link the description back to a photo.....its always easier to show something than describe it

Image upload bug found and fixed

There was a bug in the image upload system which was not keeping the image ratio when resizing, i.e your image was looking like it had been squashed up.

Now the system will resize the width of your image but keep autoratio of the height of your image...

If you have uploaded any images you do not have to upload them again as the system has adjusted the ratio of your images.
