not wanting to threadjack evoonlines thread
I just wondered if anyone has a definitive answer to this question:
I run a number of different makes of markers, (AGD, Angel and smart parts) and therefore have expensive little pots of; love juice, AGD lube etc kicking around. I also use synthetic 30w oil in air tools, special devillbiss oil in sprayguns, synthetic deister oil in my compressors and back along synthetic 2 stroke oil in my crossers.
I am a born skeptic and don't believe that all these oils are vastly different, they all have to perform under pressure, all form a mist, and all must be able to co-exist with o rings of varied compositions.
See where I'm going with this?
My guess is that the synthetic 30w deister compressor oil has to be similar, it is breathing grade, withstands pressures of 4500 psi + without spontaneous combustion. has a very high flash point, and buys O rings a bunch of flowers after they've made love.
I'm not talking WD40, vasaline, butter or castrol gtx here (which are some of the stupid things I've found on google search ) and am not intending to stop using the recommended lubes.
But being one of those people who always used the phrase "Why Dad, Why?" I just needs to know!
Anyone?
