Never heard of the mod mate,
I know for a fact you can get the Reloader B to work on pretty much any gun without needing to modify it, so long as the gun and hopper are setup correctly.

Force feed hoppers do sometimes require a bit more effort to get working well.

Firstly what setting is the reloader on at the moment? If its not already on the lowest setting try turning it down one.

Make sure the spring arrangement in the drive cone is right and the cone is spinning back properly. I dont see why it could be wrong if he bought it new, but its worth a check.

Applying some grease to the drivebelt is always a good idea, it doesnt slow the hopper down at all but it does provide some protection by allowing the belt to slip if the spring tension builds up.

If none of this helps then it could be a duff board. I assume the hopper is still under warranty?
