Cockers are great for upgrading, but very hard to repair if you don't know anything about them. For an easy repairable tourney grade marker, I would say go with the Imp.;)

How much have you got to spend do you think buddy. I'm talking about how much to get the marker, then how much do you think you'll have later to spend on upgrades.

I've owned a cocker and a impulse and played woods/tourny ball with both.

The reason I ask is that you can get an impulse for example ranging from:

http://www.pbreview.com/products/reviews/772/

To:

http://www.pbreview.com/products/reviews/1263/

And theres quite a big difference in quality, but if you can't afford then be sensible. Cockers ared the same, big spectrum in cost and quality.

Forget the rest play with a good gun  if you want an EXTREMELY easily fixable gun, thats if they break (unlikely) I'd go with an Angel....speed 04 and after will do just fine, I'm getting my speed eye'd cheap, and as good as any high end gun once it'll be done ;) and whats more, pratically 50%+ of people in paintball know how to sort atleast one thing on angels really...

I've got a euro, g7 eyes and pipe, but I still prefer my suped up impy.

Give your price of your A4 setup Luke. Marker, barrel, air etc. My euro setup cost far more then I was willing to pay when I first started. I'm not saying my impy didn't cost about the same but only after it had been tricked up.

Ok well an angel is out of my price range as i want to buy a new gun. So at the moment everyone is recomending the impulse? Whats the trigger pull like though as it doesnt look that short.

Oh yea and the Impulse i want is a Smart Parts Vision Impulse.

You should be able to pick a 2nd hand impulse up from the classifieds for anything between £125 and £250 depending on the upgrades and condition.

As for trigger pull there are lots of different frames/Triggers you can get it. As for frames, theres the OTB frame, I-Frame- Ripper Frame, Eclipse Frame. You can stick a CP Roller in a eclise blade frame etc.

Check this thread for Impulse info, or ask me any q's you've got through pm: http://www.pbnation.com/forumdisplay.php?s=&forumid=169
