could anyone who went to the masters lincoln just post up what gat they used and how many chops they had during the day, only if all the other variables were good ie: good paint, gat setup right ect.
think this might come in usefull for alot of people.

Four of the team were running Angel Speed 06 & G7 Fly, plus the one token Ego (soon to be gone and replaced by a speed 06 lol)

Barrels Dye Utralight .688.. Paint was DraXxus Blaze with not one smeg all day from any team member. A real improvement after the Uttox event when we where shooting Tomahawk Winter paint that would not shoot at all (even with a .692 back) and was dumped after the first game and replaced with Cronic….

Looks like we will be sticking with are DraXxus paint deal..

I was the chrono judge on field 2 and noticed alot of breaks were accuring as the ball left the barrel not sure what paint it was but it was probably down to the bore size being abit too tight and the paint not being kept to well during the day and the night before which made it pretty brittle.

Either way i still managed to smeg a ball in pretty much all makes of maker tho Ions with the stock barrel seemed to come out top probably cos there was a bloody lot of em about.

What surprised me more that anything is that people will spend hundreds of pounds on a bling maker yet wont spend a couple of quid on barrel swabs or squeegys

but then, one bad thing- the paint must have been hard as nails as one game I caught one guy out in the open and fired 5 into his chest, which ALL bounced, he came up to me afterwards & told me he was covered in welts but none had broken

also at Uttoxeter last tourney I used RPS winter and didnt have single chop or barrel break or day which was fantastic

I was a chrono ref on field one and I was suprised how many people were having troubles.

Ions seemed to stand out as the worst.

Although I broke paint in most types of gun, the ones that had trouble getting any paint out at all over the chrono were Ions.

Ni Ban used a variety of markers on sunday from ions thru angels and cockers to matrixs and timmys and not one chop all day. i think a total of 2 broke in the barrell on the cocker, but could be down to a couple of odd shaped balls! shot inferno all day apart from the last game where we had to open a case of spank

We used that Tomahawk stuff over at open de catalunya, Was chopping like a biatch! Left, right and center!
