how long do most people keep a marker before buying a new marker? i have a PM5, and im not sure whether i should change it this year or next year, it still works perfectly.

.....do many people still use PM5's?

Looking for a team.
does it still work?
are you happy with it's performance and accuracy?
is it still in good condition visually?

if so then there is really no need to change...

i last upgraded to an ion...that was only so that i could go to sup air fields and have a chance of holdiong my own...prioir to that i was running a spyder shutter...i had it for five years and only moved up to get the better rate of fire...
i still get it out now and again when i fancy a change.

so to sum up....dont change unless you either have to( broken deffective gun) ,
need to great technology/R.O.F leap or you have a large bundle of notes burning a hole in your pocket and a desire to own the latest all singing all dancing emulsifier.

echo, my first marker was an Ion and I recently upgraded to a PM5. Having held a PM6, the weight and size difference is noticeable but I see no reason to upgrade at the moment. The PM5 I have has a couple of required upgrades, name an OOPS and feedneck, along with a barrel and trigger.

The internals of a PM6 are almost identical to that of a PM5 and the PM7 is again similiar, but with extra modes built into the stock board. As I play division 4 NSPL, I have no need for modes other than semi but have recently bought a cheap Millennium board should I want the capability of ramping.

It is quite a large and heavy gun in comparison to the more recent releases, but if you can cope with that then you might as well spend more money playing than on a new marker.

manchester,
if there is nothing rong with it then keep it, no need to spend all that money on the next model which has hardly any difference.
