this migh sound stupid but why do markers use bolts? surely the same effect could be gained just using air perhaps through a diffuser or something? if this would work i call dibs on the patent

i dont know but, using my new found knoweledge id say no because it doesnt matter how far back you put the feedneck its still has to be infront of the incoming air or sealed which would make it not a feedneck. lol

I maybe making this up, but a while back didnt someone make a marker that didnt use a bolt 9or a moving one anyway). This mean the feed neck was really far back......

Have i been dreaming again?

Yeah that was the alien gun.

It used a trap door to seal the breach.

The problem I have with that design is that you are blowing the ball from a wide bore section (wide enough for the paintball to drop down unhindered) into the tight bore accelerator section of the barrell.

The Nova had an articulated barrel, supposed to be really ncie to shoot but imagine the kick at high ROF, it would have a heavier cycling mass than a cocker
