Probably been asked a thousand times before but here I go,
I want to buy my own marker,Dont really want electric as I want to be able to use it at my local site and from what I can gather if you're not doing tournys then sites can get a bit funny about electric, I'm new and as most people are I'm on a budget and a bit confused about what to get, looked at Icon Z but since been told they are not great, Please help me:D ps I'm not over keen on the tippman A5 Iknow its good but I'm not sure on the looks, sorry

not really..id stay away from jt guns if i were you.

i think your probably gunna find that when you do use the mechanical marker, that after a few games you'll become addicted, then you'll go to a walkon and find that you'd be outgunned, and wanna buy a better one. Thats exactly what i did, and i wish i would have just of saved a few quid and got a good electro straight away.

Its just that I dont know how often I am going to be able to play at first so will probably have to stay fairly local to me and I dont think I can use electro on normal days and stuff (rec ball)

Well if you're determined to go mech. Then i'd recomend an Automag: reliable, accurate, easy to maintain and cheap.
But to be honest, if you're going to be playing walk-ons and later maybe tounies might be false economy as you'll probably want to upgrade to a tourney grade electro soon enough.
