Marker Advice

Probably been asked a thousand times before but here I go,
I want to buy my own marker,Dont really want electric as I want to be able to use it at my local site and from what I can gather if you're not doing tournys then sites can get a bit funny about electric, I'm new and as most people are I'm on a budget and a bit confused about what to get, looked at Icon Z but since been told they are not great, Please help me ps I'm not over keen on the tippman A5 Iknow its good but I'm not sure on the looks, sorry

Did look at the Tac 5 is it any good ?
Also are the spyders any good?

not really..id stay away from jt guns if i were you.

i think your probably gunna find that when you do use the mechanical marker, that after a few games you'll become addicted, then you'll go to a walkon and find that you'd be outgunned, and wanna buy a better one. Thats exactly what i did, and i wish i would have just of saved a few quid and got a good electro straight away.

Its just that I dont know how often I am going to be able to play at first so will probably have to stay fairly local to me and I dont think I can use electro on normal days and stuff (rec ball)

Well if you're determined to go mech. Then i'd recomend an Automag: reliable, accurate, easy to maintain and cheap.
But to be honest, if you're going to be playing walk-ons and later maybe tounies might be false economy as you'll probably want to upgrade to a tourney grade electro soon enough.
