Hey Guys,
just thinking about our trip to Mardi, and one of the things that amazed me the most was the shear number of kids playing.
The lower ranked teams were sometimes completly made up of twelve year olds, they can all outright play. Some of them pulling off sick moves and all looked the part.
You could see crowds of them around Lasoya and Co all getting tips and training from the pros.
This was incredible to see and I think it was commented on in last months PGI. They are the new blood and a huge boost to sales in the US, but where is the new generation in Europe or more so in the UK?
I don`t think I have seen any new blood in the UK for quite a while now, last I remember was Sam and Colby entering the scene and a few others who I don`t know their names but the point is in the US at the one tourney I have been to there were more kids watching and playing than you can imagine.
There is going to be some great teams picking up the youngsters and real soon your going to have some twelve year old zippering you in the back of the head !, just thought i`d warn you.
