Marchbrook Closed

me and 4 friends used to go to marchbrook in wrexham N wales, quite regular, now we have leared it has closed. does any 1 know when it will be reopening, if it ever will?

Apart from the rumours that have circulated over the closure for the past 6 months. The biggest clue to its demise may be the official website is now only referring to the cricket and not the rest of the activities (inc. paintball) they used to offer.

So do you think it will never reopen?

I contacted the owner and he said somebody else is buying the land in March and then the paintball area will reopen.

Shame to hear about Marchweil it was a nice setup and very friendly place to ball.

Only a 2min taxi ride to get to the night life mate.
Anyway, Marchbrook is closed for the forseeable future. The land (paintball site, cricket pitch, Marchweil Hall etc)was owned by a trust which has decided to sell the land/hall. Hopefully, someone will buy it as a going concern and keep the paintball running, including the Welsh Open. But we are yet to see.
