hi guys and gals,
Just to let any UK people know that there's gonna be a pub/social session in Watford on the above date. The place? well it'll be at "The Flag" which is a big 'ol drinking hole right next to Watford Junction. will prob be there from about 8:30 onwards. All are invited!

ok I will prob get flamed for this post so heres my reason for posting. I know i could e-mail, phone or txt people about this,which I have done. but I can't mail people i don't yet know. Theres a LOT of people in this forum(most very quiet and probualy eager to meet new players) and through doing evenings like this I have met lots of people and made some very cool friends out of it. If we hadn't joined the forum and done such evenings i'd still be playing punter ball at a rip off office party merchant! i certanly wouldn't where I am now, knowing who i now know!
ok I admit its aimed at a minority of people but we're getting bigger.at the moment people meet from Aylesbury to Cambridge and as far south as Bognor Regis! soon to be getting players from south london way. so it covers a fairly big area.
so if you want to meet other like minded players come along (hey it's where we got our team captain from!) if the other times are to go by the only topic of conversation has been paintball.
coz we all love it, dream it and do it! i'll even drink to it!

I have to agree with you Tb

I met the guys here on the forum and also the appocalyse guys and the lovley Alien but so far not his merry men, plus many others. Hell if it wasn't for the forum chris god I look like **** I'm pissed of imperial would never have given my true idenity out to Robbo. He might have spent the whole night thinking I was Mrs Jon Payne. Sorry all no gossip or scandal here we just both went "On our own" Mrs jon payne was at home and I run a site and don't get out much lol.

I have also reserched the last tourney through the forum and am planning many new and cool things It has been a great help and enless source of laughs and information.

We even attracted half the new junior team here although I won't take them to pub nights the pubs too big and I promise their mums it's only a shandy in the local MAX!

I much lament the fun and banter and expect to get my arse flamed again. I traveled to cambrigde all because of a simmilar post a good 2+ hours drive. I don't get out much and if people are willing to organise socail paintball related events then I for one think it is for the better of the sport. Bike clubs do pub meets all over the world when I had my MG we did pub nights.

They need to be advertised so the new members we all want can come and hang out and get to know every one. Once you put a name to a face life is so much easier (well most LOL) Paintball is all one big family of individuals trying to reach the bigger picture. It needs a social life and not every one gets to the tourneys.

I closed site down and drove my arse to the presentation party precisly because of that. I met Robbo and his lovley lady Jerry and Steff I already know that was it we were the south. Unless you are in an established team and "do" the circuit it is hard to meet other players. I am luck as an exception I am not frightened to talk to strangers or to go out on my own lots of people are and they are not girls.

Getting off my soap box now if you are at a lose end you could do far worse than a night at the flag
