The only real difference is the body, which is slightly longer on a minimag (go figure!) but has slots cut into it presumably to reduce the weight. Not sure about nowadays, but way back the feed tubes were set in opposite directions so a mag was good for a right hander (feed tube put the hopper to the left of the marker) & a minimag good for a lefthander.
Sorry, no idea about prices as mine was bought over 10 years ago!

i think you will also find that the mini mag uses a screw in barrel so is a much more acurate. (or thats what im told

sorry just inserted brain thats the mirco mag

Not exactly the same, but almost. The same barrel fits, but for some strange reason you have to turn them in the opposite direction! Was quite amusing this weekend when someone used to "normal" mags put the barrel into a minimag & when the player went onto the field the paint couldn't feed as the barrel was in wrong.:eek:

Minimags were all hopper right powerfeeds (i.e the hopper was over to the right) wereas standard mags were hopper left, that's why the barrel has to be twisted the other way

Now for bonus points - Who remembers the Sydarm?:D
