Well just as yours did my extreme started leaking down the barrel after about 6900 shots. I remembered what you said about changing carrier to the next smallest.
The carrier in my Extreme had 2 lines on so I went for one with 1 line put it back together according to the manual and result it doesn't leak, I assume that means I got the correct carrier as it felt nicely snug on the bolt pin??!??

I have put a further 2000 shots through it and theres no sign of any leaking etc.

Does that sound right to you?

Oh also the shims, I could't get them out and they seem pretty tight in there they only sit about an inch in the power tube, is that right?

Paul, sizing on the collars goes line = 1, dot =1/2 ie 2lines + dot =2 1/2,if that makes sense.Shims come out with a dental pick(get friendly with your dentist )
Both the Extreme and Automag seemed to have settled at the settings you have ie No.1 guide and a couple of shims.

Cheers, yeah that makes sense, I have a 1.5 carrier in there at the moment then.
About the shims is that right that they only sit about an inch down? The marker works fine which I assume if they weren't in correctly it wouldn't do??

Just got my Emag back from AGD, got it Extremed, level10'd and reanodised. Connected my Warp and f##k nearly p#ssed myself. I love this marker. Have purchased a level 10 kit for my RT but looks complicated, think I will send it to AGD for fitting & a Blade.

Anyway rambling, can I expect my Emag to start leaking after 6-10 thousand shots? Bugger!

Probably but all it mean is the O ring has broken in, The kit itself looks easy to fit, if you head over to www.automags.org theres detailed instructions there and even a vid

hi - picked my extreme c&c today from airgun designs europe.john sosta builds these here in the uk.not available in the states yet as far as i know.what input pressure did you guys have for the hybrid setting ?.

Hi, I have mine set at about 700psi.

What colour did you go for? Any pics yet?

hi - I went for the peweter colour level 10 c&c,fitted with a 1.5 angel air running center feed with a halo B gem hopper.yes i have got pictures,but not got around to putting them up yet.I dont know if to get a blade trigger from timmy or wait for sosta to make one (4 weeks).I tried it yesterday & it almost goes full auto on manual mode,but not quite so quick in hybrid.how does yours perform ?.

The C&C's will be releases in the USA at the IAO. Paul and I got two of the first production batch in the UK.

Paul, I am now running the middle spring with two shims and carrier 1. It seems to have just a little more bolt force at 295fps than it did with the longest spring. It stops happily on some midnight and chronic paint that I had left over, but am yet to try it on hellfire due to not having any I've run out of air also. I should be at STB next weekend and will see how it goes there. I intend to be shooting hellfire or inferno. The shims should be on top of the carrier as you look into the powertube... but if it is working do't try to fix it When you say they sit an "INCH" into the powertube what do you mean? They should be in just below the threads of the tip...

I am running the input to it at around 800psi, but am trying to see how low I can get that and still get it to run so reliably. I can be quite quick on the trigger and that tends to require a little higher input pressure.

MrFixit, did you get a C&C in all pewter? I haven't seen that one yet but it Sounds nice. We need pics. Blood red looked stunnning also!

As the gun run's in the o-ring on the power piston may need to be 'tightened' this is done by placing it into a tighter carrier. It's a quick and very easy job to do. You could just jump straight to tighter carrier, but you need to keep it nicely oiled to ensure no bolt stick happens. (not something I have found with either of my level tens, but some have).
