Manic Paintball is an independent, privately owned company. The owners and management have over 20 years experience in the paintball industry. We believe in investing time, effort and money into the paintball industry at all levels. Our motivation is to increase the number of “grass roots” players and by doing so, to positively influence the continued growth and health of our industry.
Over the last few years many paintball companies have been purchased by corporations, pension funds and bankers, which has led to a very different approach, one which does not fit with the more entrepreneurial ethos that built our great industry in the first place.
We have seen the effect this has had on the industry with an ever decreasing level of investment, innovation and vision within the sport. To achieve our goal of bringing paintball back under the control of paintballers and not pension funds, Manic has sought and now found others with the same aspirations. Today Manic has managed to reunite some of the original entrepreneurs who changed the face of paintball for the better. They will bring continued experience, optimism and a fresh, vibrant vision for the future. After a long stagnant period for new products and innovation we are now entering an era where many new products are now coming to the market. The future development of paintball is once again looking really positive.
We at Manic have found it very hard to work within the “corporate” mode of operation that has been imposed upon us over the recent past. Already this year we broke free from one manufacturer and launched with the help of friends and partners our own brand of paintballs, “Dark Sports”, with formulations, quality and a strategy we control and believe in. The "Dark Sports" brand has continued to gain strength across Europe and worldwide. This was evident at the latest Millennium Series in Paris when Dark Sports took the majority of podium spots including the CPL winners.
Manic, along with Tippmann have mutually agreed to separate our relationship at the end of this year. It became apparent our future business directions were no longer compatible. This finally releases us to form new alliances with entrepreneurial companies that we believe serve both our future and that of the industry far more effectively. Many new and exciting products and opportunities are now open and available to us.
On this note we are pleased to announce that Manic is now taking on European distribution for all Valken products which include the exceptional SW1 Field and Rec marker, a full line of packs, clothing, accessories & much more.
Manic will also form a closer alliance with Dark Sports & GI Milsim as we believe that 50 cal is a very attractive option and intend to assist in ensuring that the market fully appreciates the many advantages that 50 cal offers to dealers a field operators.
In the coming months we will be releasing new ranges of goggles, electronic hoppers and markers, all of which will take the market by storm. Quality, service, innovation, value for money and the growth of paintball is what we will continue to offer in ever increasing amounts.
As we are now free from corporate restrictions, Independence Day has arrived and Manic’s destiny is once again fully in our hands.
