Making an inline reg tester

Have had a bit of a scout around but guides seem to vary loads.

Looking to build a cheap reg tester. Just looking for advice of what I need to get hold of really

Have a big 0-1200psi Ashcroft guage already, but thats about it really. I saw Trinity sell a one ready to go out the box but wondered if a DIY method would work out cheaper

asa or donkey, on/off valve and a gauge.

Had one for years, and yes i did make it.

Is that to check an air system reg Tom or an inline reg?

if you have the gauge that will handle the pressure, it will do both, but i use mine for reg testing. Make sure the on/off will handle the pressure if you want to test air systems.

Didnt realise that a tank reg was the same thread as an inline reg! hence my confusion

many years ago i ran a mag with a 20oz co2 striaght into the front mount, it looked odd but worked well.
