make your own goggle fan

this is for people who cant afford the £30, have to much time to spare, and do not appreciate being able to hear whats going on around you!

good idea but pointless and dangerous and also illegal in most tournies

1)fans are poo, they are just noisey....if you wear glasses treat em with antifog
2) too many parts to stick ito your head if it takes a hit.....or may even drop crap into your eyes
3) most tournies state that -'goggles must no be modified from the manufacturers design'. i know i wouldnt let you on field with it on if i was reffing

listen guys i dont even like the motor on my egg cos its to noisy. so as far as fans, personally there a no no. but there is obviously a market otherwise they wouldn't be in production..so the links intended for those wishing to make or have a fan.

jahlad as for modded goggs. i thought that would just include removing face plates, ear guards, having velcro straps, etc, didnt think that it would affect the safety factor from the goggs (apart from what you mentioned about it directing "crap" (if anyone is shooting dried sh!t pellets from their marker, please seek help asap after washing your hands) into people eyes).

plus if somebody wants a massive hit me sign on their nogging then let em.

the only reason i bought a fan for my dyes was because when we trained on wednesday nights, it was humid and the goggles steamed up quite quick, but i found at tournys i dont steam up at all, so now im wondering why i spent £30 on it:(
so you could put it in the classifieds for "£20 to you door wit insurance".:D :D :D

nope any kinda mod would be banned.....especially zip tieing lumps of electronics and pc chip fans to the front of your head....one direct hit and there aint much there to stop it sticking in your forehead
