it may spin faster, but i seriously doubt it will feed faster as it will be missing picking up the balls that the other rods would of.

I dont really know how it works but it does spin faster bout you dont ned the other paddles as it will push 34 in a row.

I do see that most of the paddles arent really needed but i cant work out why less paddles would make it spin faster.

Maybe less paddles means more springyness between the ball stack and the motor.

Like I said though untill i see a comparison of this modification versus standard I will be keeping with 6 paddles.

The only things that I can come up with are:

1) Less paddles = less weight for the motor to turn, but somehow, I dont think so.
2) Less paddles could *theoretically* mean that there is a solid queue of balls waiting to be pushed into the feed neck instead of 1 ball then a gap ( for the paddle arm ) then the next ball etc.. However that would have to mean that the paintballs would have to be constantly perfectly arranged and drop perfectly into the gap created when the balls have been fed.... all in all a bit dubious on that since if it worked im sure the manufacturers would have picked up on this...

i remember a time, not so long ago, when revvies had a two sided paddle, crap compared to the vortex one.

I still use a revy, too bad it cant keep up. Maybe time for more tinkering to get it up to speed
