make it look the bollox

hi all just a quick question. i am very skilled at artwork so had a mad idea about improving the looks of my marker. a timmy nd in red and black. i wandered if its possible for me to paint the paw prints on it in red and if so what paint should i use if any. i just think it would look the bollox.

would hamerite not etch away at the anodising?
or have people used this before?

You will probably need to scratch teh anno to get teh paint to stick anyway...some nice...might need an air brush...redf stickers might be better..

i wouldn't bother fella - annodising and alluminium is a c**t to paint onto.....

there is special alluminium paint you can get from Wilkinsons - but again it will scratch off relatively easily

you could use red insulation tape and cut the shape out to put in the paw prints - not really hard wearing but more like a sticker which i would recomend over painting a £900.00 gun

i used hammerite special coating with hammerite red followed by a special hardening resin to solidify the paint, so it wont scratch or mark.
