Hii there. Just got me a new 'cocker. Would like to know the maintainance ritual for it. And also, how exactly do you squeegy your marker?

cockers really do not have alot of maintnance, just oil your bolt before every time you play and every case you shoot put 2-3 drops of oil in the place wear your tank goes and dry fire it 15-20 times. And to sqeugee ur marker take out the bolt take off the barrel and just pull your sqeugee threw.

DO NOT PUT OIL NEAR HIGH PRESSURE AIR SYSTEMS
unless ive miss understood wat uve meant pb Jay AC ur at risk of blowing urself up
get someone to show you how to time ur cocker then ull pick it up quite quick, if u can find it theres a good pic of a stripped down cocker which should help u when u strip it down for the lubing

Normally, if you have a break in the barrel, you remove the barrel and squeegy that in the manner described...however, if you have had a break in the breach, then remove the barrel, and the bolt, and push the squegee through from the back block end...then run a fluffy stick through it...put back together...realise that you have been shot to buggery while you have been doing this and the game ended 3 minutes ago...

Dude i couldnt resist the itchyness, and decided to open mine up. Cleaned everything with dry kitchen role, put it together and works the same way :D
If you ever decide to take it apart (which even tho i did, i strongly suggest you dont), make sure you remember how many turns and so on to remove stuff.
Never oil internals as cockers tend to pick up more crap in them, because of moving parts. The oil will mix with the crap, and create a kind of paste, and will wear the internals and body quicker.
I have been told wdp love juice is good on the bolt, and also vaseline, but vaseline is a bit thicker than love juice.
Hope that helps ;)

If you're using a delrin bolt, don't oil anything except for (very lightly, now) the o-rings (if there are any). Other than that, a few drops of oil in the ASA (which, by the way, is recommended by most marker manufacturers, and does not put you at risk of blowing yourself up) every case or two should do it.

And by the way, autocockers really aren't anywhere near as intricate or compliated as most people try to tell you. When I first got one, the only reason I bought it was so that I could have something to tinker around with, and I disassembled it promptly after receiving it, and had no trouble getting it back together, or figuring out how it worked. Just observe how it works and apply some common sense, and you should be able to figure it out pretty easily.
