Having probs with my magno trigger, when i rapid fire the screw moves and keeps the microswitch held down, have to get alan key out and shorten the screw length, which isnt really fun in the field,

Anyone had this prob? what will i do, get the screw where i want it then loctite it in?

skeet... eblades don't have miscroswitches do they???

I'm assuming that this is for an impy, if so just use some loctite or other weak glue (no, PVA doesn't work ;) :p )

No they dont, light gate..but....some people dont even know how to put battery's in things, so making an assumption on the gun, by the quoted method of activation would be foolhardy!!!

I also thought it would be on one of those Eclipse Magno triggers for Impys..to b honest, but mentioned the E-Blade coz the new triggers have Nylon in the grubscrews to hold them tight...

Invid,

To resolve your problem -

Remove trigger from frame.

Remove the grub screw which screws vertically up through the trigger, counting the number of turns.

Apply blue Loctite (243) to the thread of this screw.

Screw the grub screw back into the trigger by the aforementioned number of turns.

IMPORTANT: Turn the gun upside down to ensure that the microswitch lever lies flat.

Refit trigger to frame.

Make fine adjustments to grub screw as required.

Leave Loctite to set (1 hour).

Alternatively....

Get someone else to do it. :)

cheers, done it before i read the thread only a little messier,

took board off, screwed vertical grub up twice, loctited, screwed back down twice, waiting for it to set,

if it doesnt work i'll do it taking the trigger out
