Magnet Mod for Impulse

I've heard of a magnet mod soon to come for impulse. Anybody has info about it ? Any pictures?

i have absolutely no idea what you're talking about

but

i do know a guy who can install magnets into an Angel's board, and then one into your glove or barrel plug etc..........so that when you wave the magnet over the grip it changes modes! it's obviously a big tourney no no but it's kinda cool anyway.

Yeah... I've heard about this. Apparently its an SP factory mod that for now will only be for new Impulses until they find a cheap way of putting a magnet in the grip frame of old ones. What I heard is that they will be avaiably on new impys very soon.

Any idea what it does?

It's a trigger mod that works using magnets in the trigger and the grip frame instead of a microswitch on the circuit board. I think they'd be electromagnets and when the magnetic field is borken the Impy fires or summat like that.

Sounds like how the E-mag works. It has a hall effect sensor which detects the magnetic field. It's just a different type of switch.

The impulse may be doing it with a read switch though, I don't honestly know.
