Magna Drive Problems

Just bought a new Magna Drive, loaded it up with fresh batteries but it won't turn on.

Have I missed something or is it broke?

are you holding the button until the light turns green then letting go? When you press the button do you feel a click?

Yes there is a click but no green light no matter how long I hold it in for.

when you press the button quickly, does it flash green?

No green light at all!

sounds daft but have you put the batteries in correctly

also try some more batteries

try connecting a single 9V and see if it flashes green when you press the button. If not, then check the connections on the board

Also check you havent broken the actual button when putting it together.

I have just fitted a 9v battery and it works!

Just re-fitted the 6 x 1.5v batteries and they also work now!

Very odd!

Why would it use 6 x 1.5v batteries instead of 1 x 9v, they weigh more and take up more room?

more capacity to allow the hopper to run longer, also AA's are cheaper than 9V's
