Mag Upgrades

Im getting a mag in about 2 weeks, and I was wondering what to get, I'm goign to get Nitrogen, right away. Then Im broke for awhile. It comes with a foregrip, barrel, and ASA. here is what Im thinking after nitrogen, in this order:

Ricochet 2K
Kapp Foregrip Extender
Galactic Paintball Automag Z-body
ReTro Valve

What else to get?

What kind of barrel does it come with. if its not a very good barrel i would look into getting a good one. The full freak would be a great idea but it is very expensive though it will be the last barrel you will ever need. A Warp feed would work very well with that ricochet and seriously cut down your profile especially on a mag with a Z body.

Thanks. The barrel is a Dye Ultralight, I think. Id get a Freak back, then a All American Front, and a 688 bore sleeve, then slowly work my way the build a full freak I wouldnt get a new barrel till after the Z-body, since the z-body changes the threading to Autococker. Anythign else I should get??

The best upgrade you can get for a mag along with nitro and barrel is the new level 10 mod, this will be available soon.

As Paul advises, get the new Level 10 bolt. This should prevent the ball getting broken on the bolt & less breaks = much better day. My favorite marker tech (Bonich himself) was raving about them the other day.
You won't get a 688 bore Freak insert - they come in 687 & 689! Go for the 689 or even the 691, as if the bore is a little large you'll only lose a teeny bit of accuracy & mayby gas efficiency, whereas if the bore is too small then you'll be getting breaks in the barrel all day. It could be worth considering getting just the one insert then saving up & getting the remaining inserts in one go as they come with the nice carrying case included & it's much cheaper in the long run than getting them one at a time.
You should have a decent marker there - we recently got out my 10 year old Minimag (not used for about 6 years), dusted her down, put her on air & now one of the girls is playing tourneys with her regularly & is in love with her

Not Bad, About as much as a Ricochet. Ill look into Warp Feed. But that wouldn't be the first thing Id get. It alreday has a crap load of stuff on it. Im not sure the exact specs though.....

By a long, long way the first upgrade to get for a mag now is Level 10

I was surprising quite a few people with my RT up at Ancaster last weekend... not least because they wanted to know why I wasn't shooting my Spearhead Autococker with Electo Race frame... I told em the RT was now gentler than my cocker on the brittle paint Still doesn't have the fun back block though hehehe
