When I bought my Mag second hand, it had a double trigger fitted. But the people who had done it didn't put on a new frame, they just hacksawn off the trigger guard and fitted the trigger. By doing this they lost the spring pack that keep the saftey in the frame, now it just falls out so in all respect I don't have one. Will this cause me not to be able to play any walk-ons. How do site operators look at this, I do have a barrel bung and my gas has an on/off valve on it?

Secondly I have emailed Aitgun designs TWICE in a space off about a month and I got no reply whatsoever. So I rang the tech support line and got throught to some bloke who I described my problem to and he said that I needed a spring and nut pack of some description, which would cost about £5 and would be a "Piece of piss" for me to install as long as I use the orignal single trigger shoe, so I gave the guy my credit card details. This was before chrismas and I'm still waiting for it to arrive.

Is this a one off or do others experience the same service from Airgun Designs???

Dude, don't sweat about the safety. From what you said you technically have three already. 1) You can turn of your gas and then de-gas the gun after a game, thus you can't shoot. 2) You have a powerfeed that can cut the paint supply to the chamber and so if you do stay gassed up and accidentally fire then nothing will come out but gas. Finally 3) The barrel bung, this will stop a pball from leaving the barrel if you forget to turn off paint and gas and accidentally fire. When I had my mag the same thing had been done. It is normally the first thing a lot of mag users do if they have the standard carbon fibre frame coz it is so easy to cut the gaurd off. So don't worry about the saftey. If you get the new spring pack then go ahead and fit it coz the actual safety can be the easiest to remember to switch on and off after the game.

L8rz,

Charlie.

AGD europe are normally pretty good but where they fall down is when you order non - standard parts off of them that they do not keep in their inventory, these have to be ordered in from the states and normally take a bit of time.

John ( who I assume u talked to by his great choice of words) has been very busy with work on the extreme e-mag and the anti chop eye at the moment.

You could always give them another call and ask what is going on.

You should be fine to play though as charlie mentioned you have other safe guards in place.

The previous post by Charlie pretty much said everything that I have to say about the matter, being a former Mag owner myself, except I should add one thing. Mag owners had long been cutting off the trigger guards to put double triggers on rather than buying 2x frames for them because essentially nobody wants a single triggered Mag anyway, very few wanting any single triggered gun much of any kind except for Cockers and the occasional single triggered Angel by special order. So if you don't have a safety for that reason, I'm sure that most people will understand because they too cut their Mag frame when they had one or went immediately and bought a 2x frame, not to mention the vast majority of Cockers don't have safeties either and that's very VERY rarely a problem.
