I've got a slight leak in my mag. At gas up it lets out a really quiet hissing sound. If I fire it and hold the trigger it stops so I think it's in the on/off section. I have changed all the o-rings around the on/off pin and that seemed to fix it. I fired off several shots and it was ok. I waited a week and got it out to gas it up and the same thing has happend again. Can anyone give me some pointers?

Did you use AGD o-rings? And are you using Co2?

AGD o-rings are "special" in some way that they are less damaged by co2. And if your using Co2 liquid getting into the valves maybe wearing out the o-rings quicker.

If all else fails replace every o-ring you can find.

O ring hell

Bloody O-Rings. They're doin my head in. I think it's the o-ring in the power tube. Yes they are AGD o-rings (bloody expensive at £12 a pack) and yes I am using CO2.

Do you have to use AGD o-rings, or can you use teflon ones from a hardware store?

Power Tube is favourite, if you have an older mag it may have a spring in the power tube (it gets smaller through use) if it has replace it with a new one or use a spacer ring, AGD do a set of them, and Toxic Toys do as well (a german company)...be careful though cos some will create a leak, some will make the trigger almost reactive just experiment.

Tried it, but problem has gone away

Gased up my marker tonite just to check to see if I can tell where the leak is coming from and it's bloody gone away. I think because it stops when I hold the trigger that it has to be in the bolt. So it might be a dodgey spacer (i've had to change it once before) or it might be the power tube o-ring.

Thanks for the help anyway guys!

found it

I have found what as happening. When I changed the O-rings in the on/off assembly the small teflon one that sits inside another o-ring on top of the tophat, it was too tighter fit and was causing the on/off top and botton to be pushed out about a mil or two causing the small leak. Changed the o-rings that have a tight but snug fit and all seems ok.
