Hi folks, after some macroline advice on an Ego11.
I've tried all ways to stop it leaking, bought two new bits today cut it as straight as possible, tried a bit of grease.
Used all of the new line trying to stop the leak.
Took out the silver clamps and greased the O rings.
Still leaks, although sometimes is stops or is a tiny hiss.
Re gas again and it leaks again!
Any tricks of the trade?

I used to get a leak now and again on my lines after reassembly , one thing i would do is make sure the line is fully inserted , then if it was hissing tug a little on the line to tighten it against the macro fitting if you follow me ,only thing i have had to do in that situation, good luck :)

Be very careful to cut it dead straight, and leave it a little longer than you think you need. (I use a macroline cutter, which gives a perfect cut every time)
Also, make sure it is ALL the way into the fitting - it's suprising how often it just hasn't gone all the way in (said the actress to the bishop)

That's what I'm using.
Replaced the Angel one while I was at it with no problems!
So line cutter and new hose and start again.

Better off spending your money on a new elbow/ fitting I reckon

Btw macroline cutters are over priced. A generic conduit cutter from hardware store does the same job for half the price.

It's the Ego11 one which screws in not an elbow ,got a spares kit ,any ideas how to get to O ring all ?
I can see the one at the bottom O ring which connects to reg.
