anyone know anyone/anywhere that could machine some aluminium of a metal ion body kit?

Is this by any chance a LED relocation mod or a external control membrane mod?
From what i have read elsewhere schools or colleges believe it or not are good places to go, they usually have all the necessary equipment and wont charge anything.
But if that sounds too insane, i can only recommend looking in the yellow pages for a local workshop or perhaps a maintenance garage.
Or mabe check with warped. They seem to be the best resource (in my opinion) for ion Parts and maintenance. you could give them a buzz and see if they'll do the work for you.

no its a body not a frame.
i have an older style powerlyte body to "experiment" with before getting it reanno'd dust black to match my element frame.

really just trying to thin it a little overall, enlarge the cutaways that are already there and take a little off the back.
