hi, ive been planning on getting myself a macdev 2k3 conquest but have stumbled across a 2k1 for sencible money, how do they compair?

2k3 has a far better flow rate and is far easyer to adjust,also does not need to be cleaned all the time,apparently the old one did
If the price is good, get it. The two models are very similar cosmeticaly,and the old one came be upgraded with new parts to flow like the new one.
The 2k1 isn't a balanced design so it needs an inline reg to run consistently. The 2k3 is happy feeding pretty much anything directly without an inline.
The older Conquests are still damn good regs, but I'm generally inclined to stick with presets if using an inline, because you don't need a super duper adjustable tank reg when the inline is doing the hard work.

I've got an unused Conquest 2k1 but need to fit a burst disk. Can I use a disk from another system or do they have to be Mavdec jobbies. I mailed Macdev and 6E a week ago, but still await a reply. Apologies in advance for my ignorance.
im pritty sure that most systems use a universal burst disk only one i know of that is different is the angel air
