Macdev clone vx battery terminal

Last training session one of the battery terminals snapped in my clone vx... From what I understand they are the spring contact terminal (much like a geo 3) however I can't find them anywhere and macdev do not offer replacements!

Is it a case of getting a whole new board or does anyone have any info on where I can get one?

If you've got a soldering iron, you can get the parts from either Maplins or rapidonline.com and then solder it.

Already tried maplins and they don't stock the part but I will try the other website... Thanks
