I have the 03 conquest rig and it's started to leak over the weekend from the on/off switch and cant work out how to stop it anyone out there know anything about them that would help me out?

De-gas and remove the reg from the bottle, then unscrew the on/off cap all the way - the insides will fall out so make sure u pay attention, know which way they go back in, or get the rebuild manual from the MacDev website beforehand (http://www.macdev.net/manuals/03%20Conquest%20manual%20(web%20version).pdf)
If it's leaking from the on/off it'll probably be the piston or on/off o-rings (the on/off o-ring is tiny).
It may be worth buying an 04 rebuild kit ($20 from Macdev) as some of the parts in it are different and from what I hear, increase the flow rate of the reg.

Either the output pressure is too high (it's set too high or the seat is damaged and it's creeping) or one of the piston o-rings needs replacing.
The piston can be accessed without empty the tank or fully dismatling the reg. Unscrew the adjuster cap, remove the shim and spring, and carefully pull the piston out with a pair of fine-nosed pliers (If it's not coming out without risking damage, then you will have to empty the tank and take the reg apart to push the piston out from the inside.)
Check the 3 o-rings on the piston - two around the outside, and one small one in the end. Replace if at all damaged; grease them anyway and put it back together.

I meant to tell you - got it apart, cleaned up and regreased where necessary (you already have the '04 internals) so now it just needs some air to test it with
