Hey all..i was wondering what would be better for the M98 Custom...14 inch DYE Boomstick or the Flatline System. I'm leaning towards the boomstick b/c i heard the flatline is a pain to clean...any input is helpful. :)

Do not under any circumstances get a Flatline barrel. Ever. A Boomstick is an excellent barrel but a bit pricey to put on a M98 because likely you'll want to move up and that's a bit much to have sunk into your first gun. Personally I recommend the Custom Products 1 piece barrel, which is superbly accurate, quite reasonably quiet, and a superb value. In fact, there's nothing out there substantially cheaper, and it outshoots everything in its price range and many barrels that are more expensive. Plus they come in a variety of colors at no extra charge. You can view them at www.customproducts-az.com and purchase them from a variety of stores. Dale Ford of Paintballchannel.com sells them for probably the best price to be found, and usually can have it shipped to you in 3 days. It's hard if not impossible to beat that.

Hmm..why do people always suggest lapco or dye for 98's.

For my 98 i have a taso winforce and it is extremely quite and accurate and best of all...it's CHEAP!!!
