I have returned to playing ball after 2 years and the last time I played a Millennium event was 2005, which was before the aforementioned formats.

Checking the millennium rules on their website (2006 version) it states that to find out more about those formats look at their website, to which there is no information at all.

I have scoured these forums, but again cannot find any info. Where can I find any official defenitions, differences and rules to these formats compared to 7 man (apart from obvious difference of M5 being 5 man)

m5 is a straight 5 man, with all the millienium rules being inforced from the 2007 rulebook.

M7(cpl & spl) is a x-ball lite version. 7 players per game, 5 5 men on a field at any one point. First to 5 points or a time limit 15 mins i think (cant remember these) Standard millenium rules apply with a couple others. Things like off top of my head (please tell me if im wrong) a 1-4-1 in the last 90 secs of the game will automatically award point to the other team. If a player is hit pressing buzzer automatic point to other team and they play with 4 next point?

Im sure someone else will be able to give you a more precise explanation but this is a general jist.
