M25 venues

M25 venues
Dear all I was all set to announce all the venues for the whole series so we could all get organised. I picked up a message on Friday morning, left on Thursday evening, saying they would love to host paintball but couldn't now host the March event due to local elections. This venue has been now moved to august.

Then the scaffolding collapsed. Making sure Bricket Wood happened was my prime concern at this point. As you have all read the players left a bricket wood in a terrible state, not all of you some teams were very considerate and you could even tell they had been there. This is a local authority venue I have to get planning and the consent of all the councils to hold this series. If Bricket Wood had not been left spotless there would be no M25 and paintball would have yet another black mark to its name.

This way local councils now have a good image of paintball which will benefit all of us and we can go back next year

I lost a whole week in the office clearing up! My computer with all my numbers did not get plugged in till Thursday so the mess nearly stopped the second leg from happening.

I have very kindly been offered sponsor ship of 30 plastic rubbish bins bless warren wood paintball they have been extremely supportive to the series.

The second leg is now at Reading I have booked 30 rooms in the hotel you can see the sight from your windows. Please email or pm me if you require a room with numbers of players. I need to know asp. I have even got them to have breakfast ready from 5.30am for us if required; there is also a pub for dinner. You are all cordially invited to join my self and the team for beers ECT as it's my birthday on Monday

the marquee is booked its' huge and we have a skip booked for the rubbish.

Questions how short would you like the grass its been mowed for us and if you would prefer to camp please also email me as this is cool too.

I need I squad of experienced marshals if you the players want 4 fields. If you would like to ref please post or email me.

Fields will be available to walk from Saturday, its on sight catering again but this food is lovely and they do cater for reading festival and womad! They also have an on site bar and swimming pools ECT.

If you not booked in ECT email me I will post full details of every thing tonight I have only just worked this small miracle and am off to talk to the scafolders!

Any one available to help set up and clean up please make your self known it will be appreciated thank you.

Sorry for the delay but I really did not want to have to cancel the event which was the alternative :(
Eddit due to spelling yes I was tired ok it's gets worse then:(

Hey Sparklie,

Will the help be needed on the Friday again? If so, I can come down and help set up again. Same times? (9-5ish?)

Powerball are doing team deals of any RPS tourney grade paint. Something along the lines of get 5 cases of paint for £37.00 per box and get 1 free case. If you buy 10 cases, then you get them for £35.00 each with 2 free cases. This deal applies to all paint except for Evil which is a tad bit more expensive.

The Powerball van will be there with Tsunami so it will also reduce freight/carriage costs if ordered before as we can bring it up for you. Call Errol at Powerball on 01252-408 455 for any info

See you all at the 2nd leg.

Cheers
