Another thread has touched the subject or rankings / series points etc. I have NO intent on this thread being a who should be where but just factual answer's to the following questions that teams would appreciate.

With series prizes awarded at diferent levels, what happens if.......

A team is raised a division for doing well then droped back cos they bomb. Do all points carry in there final division ?

A team plays half the series in one div, then is raised due to improvements, and finnishes the series in that div. What div do they qualify for prizes ?

A team playes ONE round in a diferent div to the rest, do the points from the ONE round still carry ?

I'm sure you get the gist of the clarifications I'm after. As it is friday already I await a reply when you return to the office and wish all those playing M25 this Sunday good look (whatever the div) PLAY FAIR and no dummy spitting !!!!!!!

PS As there is now a UKPL, what is the position on standadising rankings throughout all leagues in line with the millenium ONE RANK ONE YEAR. Or a standard 2up 2 down PROMOTION / RELEGATION after each round (which would be ideal) .

National Rankings

There is a trial seeding/ranking system that is being piloted in the Midlands Masters this year.

As for classification I agree this should be done at the outset of each year, however the ranking should not be determined by the teams, moreoever by the experience and status of the team.

Again Midlands Masters in conjunction with it's UKPL partners is attempting to remedy this issue.

Finally, the Discipline and rules committee wil have the final say on any proposed change to the ranking system, and wil help to shape a future one.

The formalisation of UK team rankings (which could leed to player registration) would be the bigest step forward for paintball since some bloke at WDP said " I bet it would be fun to play behind those big plastic pipes" !!!!!!
