We don't know what we are doing for sure yet with regard to tourneys over here.
Most of the time we will be training and also going head to head with a few other teams while training.
The formula seems to be working at the moment, so I don't really wanna tinker with it too much at this stage.
If and when we are gonna play any UK tourneys, I'm sure the guys will let y'all know :)

lol so i take it you would like too but training is important. But saying that surely Robbo you can see this is a perfect, cheap way of training against some of the best Pro's and Am's.

It's a perfect way of getting used to playing with each other but not the best environment to learn.
When we train, even against other teams, I can stop the games when I like and say what needs to be said and maybe change things around.
In that situation, I can control proceedings 100%; in a tournament environment, as soon as they leave me to go on the field, I have effecitvely lost control.
As I have said many times now, this is our learning year, and to that end, we will try and learn as much as we can in as short a period as is possible and the only way I can achieve that is the way I am going about things at the moment.
Hope this makes sense.

Thats cool mate :D i do understand. I was just saying like maybe it would be an idea to take all those months of training and use it in one M25 event to see if it has perfected. But still you would probably come down and take us all and realise you havnt perfected anything cos Dynasty aint playing against ya. :p
Those kidz rock. Maybe you should train at SC Village against Dynasty once every 2-3months:cool:

It's not that, I think we can learn playing against teams like Tigers and so many more but the things I need the guys to concentrate on at this point in time, are best learnt in a controlled environment.
We set our stall out to try and get to the top as quickly as we could, even then, it's a minimum two year build.
Our roster, remember, is made up of mostly amateurs and novices so there was no real short cuts to be had, just a concerted and hopefully sophisticated training programme to go thru.
As I said, so far so good but still a frikkin long way to go.

Hmmm, if you think about the game itself and what constitutes a good player and a 'not so good' player, try to think of the differences....when you have decided.....structure your own personal training programme around whatever skills you have identified.
I am not in any way suggesting my way is the best or only way, it is merely one route and I'm sure there are plenty of thinkers around who could come up with programmes just as good as any already out there.
But it does take commitment, make no mistake about that.
Good Luck !
