I have got every one to agree to a date:D

We are all agreed it will not happen till next year:D

Fingers crossed we have 2 all supair sites and two mixed supair, woods and hyperball.

We are expecting to hold one tourney per month,

I have got every one to agree to a meeting to discuse the formates and how the whole thing is to work ............

This is were you the players come in :)

What do you WANT

I am making no promises but if I have your wishes and input with me I can show it to all concerned and we should get there between us.

The balls in your court give it your support and it will happen.

Peace love and cookies

Full Support

Sparklie,

You have the full support of the Midlands Masters, and our excellent database of marshals.

As an idea why not tie our series together and culminate in a National Finals, Chris from the Southwest League might be interested, lets all get together and work this out could be good for us, and excellent for the players.

Watch this space.........organisers who listen and respond there's a thing.

Blakey.

Not really any useful feedback yet but a couple of questions if you know the answers! Some are aimed at Sparklie but i am also just brainstorming a bit to get everyone else thinking!

You said:

2 all supair sites and two mixed supair, woods and hyperball.
Can you clarify what this means in terms of venues... i'm a bit confused. Do i understand from that, that there are four sites willing to take part? -

2 supair
2 mixed (each of these sites features a woodland, sup and hyper field?)

Can i assume that from our discussion in the old thread that the sites in question are: DIABLO Maidenhead, Temple, Campaign, ???
(did i mention DIABLO Maidenhead? - oh yeah i did :D) What is the fourth? London Colney???

Is this going to be a 4 tourney series then?
How many are there in the NPPL, Millenium, Midland Masters, etc?

Would all of the costs be the same for each venue?
Could suggestions for accomodation be lined up (if not discounted rates?)
One day or two day?
BYO paint?
Divisions?
Same rules as Midlands Masters so that when National Championships is arranged everyone is playing to the same rules. (All UK series to adopt Millenium rules to create European standard? I know some people use Millenium rules but then chuck in their own little interpretations and nuances!!! )

Trade backup... Not full on trade shows but at least one supplier at each event... Could you get Planet to do one, WDP to do another, Diablo to be at another etc so that each supplier in effect sponsors one leg. When anyone goes to a site, they always forget something so it's good to be able to buy stuff on site!

How many teams are there in the M25 area?
How many teams do the Temple get on a regular basis?

Oh well, my brain is fried!!!

"Time for bed!", said Zebedee:p

Stan your an angel

thanks this is what I wanted,

Yes you have it right temple, campaign, LPS yes subject to planning and me with Diablo I can do the trade stand thing and I think it's a very valid point so too, hotels and rules ect.

If I knew how many teams might even be prepared want to play then I can get my haggling boots on and talk hotel discounts but you need ammo ie numbers and stuff to tempt them with.

So keep it rolling

Can I just ask what all this is? I didn't see the old thread and so I am a little confused as to what you are talking about. It sounds like it would be good as I live near Temple and Campaign, not sure where LPS is and I have no idea where Maidenhead is in relation to Junc 6 of M25.

Well, we have Bully's 2002 league up in the North of England, we have a Midlands Midlands Masters league & a South West league but nothing serving the South East & round London. This used to be the biggest area in the country for tournament paintball (the old Home Counties league had 4 divisions of 10 x 10-man teams in the old days) but it seems to have died a death in recent years so a bunch of nice, dedicated guys decided that if they got a big enough response they would organise a South East league.
Now, to make sure that everyone likely to attend is happy, the organisers represented by Sparklie have decided to ask you, the players, what you want from the league so it can be the best.

Diablo Maidenhead is off the M4, so Junction 15 of the M25. Took me about 1 hour midday on a Sunday recently from Junction 4 M25 so should take you a fair bit less.
