We are closing the book on wenesday morning so please make sure you have your deposits in by then
We will then post the divisions as soon as possible.
If possible if your team is running on C02 can you let us know how many players? The reason by 10am last time 2 full bottles had been used. I sincerely doubt we had 60+ players running on co2 but having to go get C02 on a Sunday mid tourney doesn’t help for the smooth running of any event.
Accommodation
We do have camping available on site but this needs to be booked in with me either via email or phone. I need to know how many tents don't worry it's free were not charging and there are nice hot showers and changing rooms to get your self’s cleaned up in
The Travel inn is adjacent to the site and if you have the right window you can even see the fields. I have rooms reserved. If you have not already contacted me and wish to book please do get in touch they are £49.95 for doubles, twins or family rooms ie 1 double bed sofa and pull out. All of which can be smoking or non-smoking. Breakfast will be served from 5.30 they have a lovely self-service help your self set up. Check in is from 2pm and rooms have to be cleared by 11am so you could go play your 1st game and clear up if you have an early by
The carvery and bar is right next door every one is cordially invited to join us Saturday night, as it's my birthday Monday and also a few other baller friends have birthdays this week. If you wish to have dinner please let me know as I am booking tables so we can take over a corner we have at least 30 of us so far so it should be fun!
The fields will be available to walk from 2pm on Saturday and registration will be from 4pm till 6pm you will need to pay in full to register and receive your tourney info pack and running order ect.
Feel free to bring your swimming trucks/ bikinis there is a brilliant pool, view of the fields, flume ect and you will find a gang of us in the pool Saturday afternoon after walking fields and après party.
Food
Yes I know the last lot were bloody awful they have now been told in no uncertain terms their services will not be required ever!
It is on site catering only I have no control over this, but prices are reasonable and I have sampled their wares on several occasions its hot its good and plenty of variety. Tea is 80p for huge cup plus lid and HOT, coffee ECT, there are also copious drinks machines for water, coke, red bull ECT. Full brecky eggs, sausages, beans, bacon £4.50 and bacon butties ECT are available too from £1.50 so not too scary. They have also agreed to let us show paintball videos!!!!!
If you are bring the family there's lots to do swimming pool, play area and watching you play obviously there are also other events happening to keep them amused.
Ok I said I wasn't going to moan but just so you all know Tim from Warren Wood Paintball has sponsored the leauge with 30 big black dusts Bins Please use them and the bags provided to each team.
We NEED teams committed to marshal a leg of the series we have four more events after this I have one team committed to marshal the whole series. The pay is good and I try my best to ensure good working environments, those safe areas are as much for the marshals as for the players.
